Mary frances stanley-parker about Mrs. Stanley-parker Mary Frances Stanley-Parker joined Shuttleworth Williams, PLLC, in August 2007 as an associate. Ms. Parker is licensed in both the trial courts and appellate court and the Supreme Court of Tennessee. She is an experienced trial attorney in both the criminal and domestic courts. In 2001, Ms. Parker graduated the University of Tennessee with a major in Political Science with an emphasis on constitutional law. After receiving her degree, she enrolled at the Nashville School of Law where she received the Top Grade in Property Award. While in law school, she clerked for two preeminent Nashville attorneys, M. Don Himmelberg and Jack A. Butler. In her final year of law school, she interned with the Metropolitan Davidson County Public Defender’s Office where she handled hundreds of criminal cases. Following law school graduation in 2006, Ms. Parker secured a clerkship with Rutherford County Circuit Court Judge Royce Taylor. During her clerkship she helped research and draft various opinions and helped assist with jury trials. Ms. Parker is an active member of the Inns of Court, the Rutherford and Cannon County Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. Her practice focuses mainly on criminal defense for both adult and juvenile offenders and divorce and child custody.
