Presently resides in Franklin, Tennessee - Originally from Decatur, Georgia. Has resided in the state of Tennessee since 1978.

EMPLOYMENT
Presently in private practice and partner with Shuttleworth Williams, PLLC since January 2002. Currently licenced in Tennessee in all state courts and in the Federal Court Middle, Western and Eastern District and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. Present legal practice includes personal injury and auto, workers compensation, domestic law, criminal law, malpractice, insurance litigation, real estate and employment law. Approximately 40% involves representing plaintiffs and 60% representing defendants.

Managing partner in Rutherford County Title, LLC for the year 2002. Involved with the management of day to day operations, assisted with closing transactions with clients.

December 2001 to February 1994 - In private practice under the name of The Law Office of Christopher K. Thompson.

October 1993 to February 1994 - Employed by Law Office of Gary Gober, Nashville, Tn. This office primarily represented plaintiffs in workers compensation cases.

January 1985 to October 1993 - Employed by CNA Insurance Co. as a claim specialist and claim supervisor. Areas of work included workers compensation, subrogation and malpractice.

1978 to 1985 - Employed by Wausau Insurance Co. as a Senior Claims Adjuster in Knoxville, Tn. Investigated a variety of casualty losses, including personal injury, workers compensation and insurance coverage related losses.
